Terms and Conditions

All online bookings are subject to acceptance of our full terms and conditions as detailed below. The guest named on the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of their party have seen, understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions.

Pitch Fees

Caravan & Motorhome Pitches – £29.50 per pitch. Includes 2 adult guests, parking for one car (with caravan), electric hookup, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wi-fi access.

Additional fees apply for extra adult & child guests, dogs, full-size awnings, gazebos and extra vehicles as per the extras section below.

VW/Bongo Campervan Pitch – £27.50 per pitch. Includes 2 adult guests, electric hookup, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wifi access.

Additional fees apply for extra adult & child guests, dogs, full-size awnings, gazebos and extra vehicles as per the ‘Additional Fees’ section below.

Large (5-8 Berth) Tents - £29.50 per pitch. Includes 2 adult guests, parking for one car, electric hookup, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wi-fi access.

Additional fees apply for extra adult & child guests, dogs, gazebos and extra vehicles as per the ‘Additional Fees’ below.

Medium (2-4 Berth) Tents - £27.50 per pitch. Includes 2 adult guests, parking for one car, electric hookup, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wi-fi access.

Additional fees apply for extra adult & child guests, dogs, gazebos and extra vehicles as per the ‘Additional Fees’ below.

Single Person Tent for Walkers/Backpackers - £10 per pitch. Includes 1 adult guest, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wi-fi access.

Single Person Tent for Cyclists - £11 per pitch. Includes 1 adult guest, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wi-fi access.

Single Person Tent for Motorcyclists - £12 per pitch. Includes 1 adult guest, use of toilet block, washing-up facilities and free wi-fi access.

Additional Fees

Caravan/Motorhome Full-size Awning – £5 per night.
Gazebo – £5 per night.
Additional Adult Guest - £10 per night.
Additional Child Guest - £3 per night.
Dogs - £2 per night per dog.
Electric Hookup - £3 per night.
Additional Car - £4 per night.
Showers – 20p/50p.

Payment

Full payment is to be made online by credit/debit card in advance of your stay.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel more than 14 days in advance of your booking start date you will receive a refund of the total price minus the first night of your booking. Cancellation within 14 days of your booking start date is non-refundable.

If you are forced to cancel your booking, or we are forced to close due to Coronavirus-related national/regional lockdowns a full refund will be made or alternative dates offered.

We advise guests to ensure that they have appropriate insurance cover in the event that they need to cancel a booking.

Check-in and Check-out Times

Guests are able to check in from 12 noon on the first date of their booking and must vacate their pitch by 12 noon on the day of their departure. Guests may depart later than 12 noon for no extra cost as long as agreement is sought from a member of staff by no later than the day before the check-out date.

Force Majeur

High Laning Caravan & Camping Site is located on a working farm situated within a rural setting. Guests are responsible for ensuring their own safety where reasonably possible and that they understand and are prepared for situations which may arise including adverse weather conditions.
High Laning Caravan & Camping Site is not liable for any event beyond High Laning Caravan & Camping Site’s reasonable control, this is including, but not limited to:

Any failure or defective working of facilities or services.
The effect of adverse weather.

High Laning Caravan & Camping Site reserve the right to cancel a booking due to adverse weather, equipment failure & damage or for other reasons. In the eventuality of High Laning Caravan & Camping Site having to cancel a booking, the guest will receive a refund in full but no further compensation shall be paid.

Electricity

Electricity is dangerous and can kill. There is a 1.5kw (1500w) limit on each electric hookup supply - please do not exceed this. If the power fails due to guests’ faulty equipment and results in the automatic disconnection of the supply a £60 call out fee will be payable by the guest.

Environment

We have a friendly and peaceful site so no amplified music is allowed day or night.

Do not climb on or over dry stone walls or remove stones for barbecues etc.

We don’t allow open fires and stands/red bricks must be used for disposable barbecues – wood must not be taken from the surrounding trees/fields. Naked flames must kept well away from tents, caravans and vehicles. We reserve the right to extinguish any fire or barbecue that we deem to be unsafe.

Food waste must not be left outside overnight.

Dogs

High Laning Caravan & Camping Site welcomes well-behaved dogs. Dogs should be kept quiet and on a lead at all times, and must not be exercised on the park fields or surrounding pastures. Accidental fouling must be removed immediately to prevent harm to farm animals and children.

Contact Staff

Guests are responsible for raising any issues they may have with the owners of High Laning Caravan & Camping Site immediately, so there is reasonable opportunity to resolve them. If the owners of High Laning Caravan & Camping Site are not informed of any issues either until the end of a guest’s stay or after a guest has departed, High Laning Caravan & Camping Site reserve the right to refuse a refund.
